He estado mirando sus comentarios y todos son validos PERO Tengo un servidor dell T100 con disco duro que trabaja en varios modos ATA , SATA , DHAI. sera que puedo sacar una copia de respaldo de todo el disco con el nuevo ghost, he probado con versiones anteriores pero depues que ejecuto el ghost no ARRANCA he tenido muchos problemas con esos disco parace ser que el ghost no soporta, me confirman si ya an tenido casos de exito

En dos ocasiones un virus me eliminó la partición de C: y con Acronis lo restituí en 15 minutos. Ahora la nueva versión no tienes que hacer un CD de arranque, le haces una pequeña partición en el disco duro para que arranque desde alli antes del SO si lo necesitas, la partición nose lleva más de 20 Mb. Acronis el mejor.

Coincido con XDuende, ya que también uso Acronis True Image en su versión 2009 y con el PC sobremesa no me ha dado nunca problema. Sin embargo con el portátil de marca HP, por tener particion oculta en C: me fallo la recuperación de la imagen. Por lo tanto en este tipo de equipos de marca que lleva su propio sistema de recuperación ningúna utilidad de esta funciona. Hay que formatear e instalar de nuevo el Sistema Operativo para no tener esa partición oculta.

Todos los productos de Norton se caracterizan por ser pesados y tener muchisimas funciones que consumen recursos y el usuario final (del hogar) no tiende a usar.

Instale el Acronis True Imagen, y genere el CD de rescate, hago los respaldos en un disco externo y los puedo ver y explorar como que fueran directorios; con el CD restauro o hago los backup cuando sea necesario.

Ademas tiene una opción, que cuando lo pones a correr te permite hacer pruebas en el equipo y luego dejarlo tal cual.
